The Shedd Aquarium The Original building is the Aquarium, the Oceanarium was later  added Twice a day, summertime show with the Trained Dolphins Since 1930 Shedd Staff have collected fishes from all parts of the world including Australia, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, The Dry Tortugas, Fiji, Hawaii, Micronesia, the Philippines, Samoa, Venezuela and the Virgin Islands. -1924 John Graves Shedd Chicago Businessman offered $2 Million to build the World’s largest aquarium.
