THE PROBLEM: WITH REGARD TO NEO-TROPICAL WILDLIFE

The Neo-tropical Wildlife or Terrestrial non-aquatic wildlife of the Caribbean is the group of animals most at risk for reasons of ignorance, little attention being given to them, uncontrolled and unsustainable harvesting and use. In addition there has always been confusion about who is responsible for the terrestrial animal wildlife, sometimes Forestry, sometimes the Environment, sometimes Fisheries, sometimes Agriculture.

The Contradictions

Figure 1 shows a view of the world at two polar extremes, from the perspective of the "Private Sector" and the "Governments or the Public Sector".
